Montessori Blue Series Object & Word Card Set with Plastic Boxes

Montessori Blue Series Object Boxes extend the child’s reading work beyond the simple three-letter words of the Pink Series. The sequence introduces longer, familiar words with consonant blends, followed by common spelling patterns and longer two-syllable words. Each word is represented by a real object, making reading concrete, meaningful, and engaging.

This complete set includes five boxes, each with six objects and matching word cards. In the first three boxes, the child works with consonant blends where each consonant sound can still be heard separately: first at the beginning of a word, then at the end, and finally in more complex consonant groups.

The fourth box introduces common spelling patterns, including ck, ll, and ss. The fifth box builds confidence with familiar longer words and begins the transition to reading two-syllable words.

Children may name the objects, build the words with the Movable Alphabet, and match the written labels to the objects. The Blue Series follows the Pink Series and prepares the child for later phonogram work, reading cards, and early readers.
