We’ve all heard this fact before: trees keep our air breathable – and it’s true! Without trees like the pine, elm, juniper, monkey puzzle, topiary, petticoat, aspen, and 2 maples found in this Toob, the air would be full of carbon dioxide.

Space Tube - Safari Space Exploration Figurines Set

Bring outer space into hands-on learning with the Space Tube - Safari Space Exploration Figurines Set, a detailed miniature collection designed for open-ended play, language development, and STEM exploration.

This figurine set introduces children to space science through realistic models of astronauts, spacecraft, and iconic space technology. Perfect for Montessori shelves, classroom exploration, storytelling, and sorting activities.

Discs on Horizontal Dowel

A Montessori material designed to challenge coordination and spatial awareness in toddlers aged 12 to 24 months.

This activity includes a wooden base with a sturdy vertical post and a horizontal dowel. The child is invited to slide each disc onto the dowel from above — a more complex movement than vertical stacking, which requires wrist rotation and directional alignment.

Unlike the vertical version, this material challenges the child to understand orientation, directionality, and balance. The placement of the discs helps strengthen fine motor control, hand-eye coordination, and visual tracking.

This wooden Montessori box features five holes of different diameters on the top surface. Beneath the holes, there is a flat sliding plate that temporarily holds the cylinders in place. Inside the box is a slanted ramp.

The child places the five wooden cylinders (same height, different diameters) into the corresponding holes — but they don’t fall through immediately. The sliding plate underneath prevents them from dropping.

This activity is an introduction to cause and effect, and predictability.

Children insert a few discs in a row in the back slot and then with each new one inserted, a disc slides out in the front, falling onto a peg.

3 wooden rings are included.

Carrot Harvesting Box

This beautifully crafted Carrot Harvesting Box is a favorite Montessori-inspired activity for toddlers. With 16 wooden carrots (8 orange and 8 white) that fit into 16 slots on a wooden box, children enjoy the realistic play of “planting and harvesting.” It develops fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and concentration while offering endless opportunities for imaginative play.

Why parents and teachers love it

Parents appreciate the durability and natural design, while Montessori teachers use it as an early Practical Life activity. It encourages sorting, matching, and problem-solving, providing children with hands-on learning through play.
